Gabriela is a Ginsburg Fellow and Vice President of the Women in Transportation club at the University of Central Florida, studying Public Administration and Computational Sciences with a focus on Urban Planning and GIS.

She has experience in both the public and private sectors, as well as non-profit organizations. Her experience and portfolio include transportation planning, GIS analysis, pedestrian safety, and community outreach.

As Director of Communications for the Urban Knights Planning Association, she has led an 800% increase in engagement and shaped programming around urban planning and mobility, was a finalist for the Catchlight Crossings Public Art Project, and is committed to creating healthier, more connected communities through data, design, and outreach.

    • Assist in checking travel demand model output and conduct validation analysis utilizing traffic counts.

    • Develop and input data into models while supporting traffic data collection efforts.

  • The Ginsburg Phoenix Fellowship is a youth leadership initiative empowering college students to drive meaningful change through civic engagement, community organizing, and inclusive activism. We collaborate on events that promote dialogue, equity, and systemic transformation. Rooted in the values of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the fellowship equips emerging leaders with mentorship, training, and hands-on opportunities to lead campus and community initiatives.
